Try what I try. Make fun of her all day long and call her a fat cow, pig, etc… If that doesn’t work, slap her around a lil bit. Eventually she will get the idea and stop eating so much… or just leave you and you can find a new HOT wife!

Never has success with any “lose fat, lose weight” things. Best method is cardio, weight training (your body has a set amount of calories it needs to function properly, and muscles require some of that energy), slightly limiting calories and eating/drinking healthier. Thai food & herbal teas have been known to boost metabolism too!
Most people cant stick to the dreadful cardio. My suggestion is for you and your wife to try new activities and change it up everyday. Hiking, playing sports, dancing, etc can be fun ways to get that cardio in without the dullness of the treadmill.

    Sorry, those things don’t work.

To lose weight and keep it off, a person needs to eat right and exercise regularly. There are no short cuts or magic bullets. If all it took was taking a pill, there wouldn’t be any fat people. It’s just not that easy, and most of the pills are a waste of money at best…downright harmful at worst.

She needs to watch what she eats, and keep it healthy….but also keep her calories up high enough not to slow her metabolism. On top of that regular exercise…at least 5 days a week, at least 1 hr a day. Cardio for fat burning and strength training for muscle toning and increasing metabolism. She can lose up to 3 lbs/wk in a healthy manner, and keep it off long term if she keeps up the healthy new lifestyle.

Good luck to her (Diet & Fitness would’ve been a more appropriate category for this)

    Low Fat Foods don’t work
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

    Low Calorie Diets don’t work
You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt — known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

    Low Carb Plans don’t work
You’ll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.
